"I have worked on social issues and politics in one way or another since 1968, when as a 12 year old I participated in marches on our local draft board, and I can definitely state that I have seldom felt so strongly about a candidate as I do about Aaron and his run for Champaign County Clerk.
I have been friends with Aaron since he was in his early 20’s, over 25 years. Aaron grew up in our most troubled neighborhoods but somehow managed to make it past the abundant risks that young men of color face. He has grown into leadership roles at everything he applied himself to, as a social activist, a union leader, political campaign organizer and office holder.
